Bergamot - essential oil 100%

Bergamot is a representative of the subtlest variety of citrus fruits. It is widely used in the perfume industry but, above all, it is used in natural treatment of colds, cough, flu and various infections. Combined with other oils, it is especially suitable for inflammatory conditions of the skin, acne or dandruff, thanks to its seborrhoea reducing properties. It is also used in treatment of infections of bladder as well as external genital organs. Its deodorising properties are used in the treatment of skin damaged by ulcers and lichenoid lesions as well as for lip care. It definitely relaxes in the case of nervous tension, stress, depressive states and melancholy. It is known as an aroma added to Earl Grey tea.

Indications for use:

• Massage: in case of nervous tension, stress, apathy and depression, we recommend adding a few drops to a base oil (argan oil, jojoba oil) – 5-10 drops of bergamot essence per each 10 ml of the base oil
• Bath: in case of seborrhoea, oily skin, ulcers, lichenoid lesions, infections of external genital organs, tension, stress, add 5-7 drops to a bathtub of water (the bath should last no longer than 15 minutes)
• Inhalation: in case of throat infections, depression, apathy add 1-2 drops of oil to a vessel with hot water, cover the head with a towel and inhale with your eyes closed for 2-5 minutes or in an aromatherapy burner
• Compresses: in case of acne, inflammatory skin conditions

Added as a fabric softener substitute, it is perfect for disinfecting bedding and underwear! (a few drops is enough)
